Thankful to Sheriff Ron Hain
Hesed House moving on Monday because of COVID-19
AURORA, Ill., April 11, 2020 — On Monday, the state of Illinois will help Hesed House move its entire operation to a leased hotel because of COVID-19.
In video this evening, Hesed House Executive Director Ryan Dowd was truly thankful to the state of Illinois for its involvement with the state’s second largest homeless shelter. The shelter has been COVID-19 infected and needs a new solution. On Thursday, it was reported that the shelter had two confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Dowd at his Facebook account noted…”We are saving some lives!!!! A huge shout-out to Ron Hain, who orchestrated this whole thing and the State of Illinois for caring about the most vulnerable in ways that many other states don’t appear to. Really above and beyond!!!! I am truly honored to be a part of this effort.”
