Believing that the mandate from Jesus as recorded in Matthew 5:13-16 is relevant to the sharing of the Good News to a skeptical and needy world. This is the reason for this website, XPian News and what  it is about.

The Meaning of XP

XP (CHI RHO)

The first letter for the Greek word for Christ is a letter called “Chi,” which looks like an English X.  The second letter for the Greek word for Christ is called “Rho,” and it looks like our letter P.  So, many of the early Christians blended together these two Greek letters to create a special monogram for Christ.

So what will XPian.news look like… local news about the Christian community in Aurora and the Fox Valley and beyond, local events, Chicago & national Christian news, local bloggers, and much more. John Ross on Saturday, April 23, 2016 launched XPian News, a part of  Daybreak Communications, Inc. Ross is the facilitator of Aurora Christian Ministry Network (ACMN) and a member of the Fox Valley Christian Ministerial Alliance (FVCMA). He serves on the boards of Wayside Cross Ministries and the Kiwanis Club of Aurora. As a follower of Jesus, he has been for some 40 years a member of First Presbyterian Church - Aurora. He has an M.A. - Christian Leadership from Wheaton College Graduate School and undergraduate at Trinity International University.  editor@xpian.news
