Against DACA Deadline, Top Evangelical Leaders Convene Hill Press Conference to Urge Congress to Act
On Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2017, global humanitarian aid and refugee resettlement organization World Relief will convene a bipartisan press conference on Capitol Hill with Senators James Lankford (R-OK) and Angus King (I-ME) alongside prominent evangelical leaders to discuss recent efforts of Congress to pass a DACA solution. In conjunction with the press conference, the Washington Post will publish a letter signed by evangelical leaders from all 50 states, representing a culturally and theologically diverse group of churches and audiences.
