Fund-raiser Kiwanis Pancake

On Sat., March 16, the Aurora and Fox Valley community are invited to the 69th Kiwanis Pancake Day. The Kiwanis Club of Aurora in its 103rd year celebration presents this annual breakfast event to fund their work with children and the community. Last year, the club served over 1,300 breakfasts.

Annually, the Aurora, Illinois Kiwanis Foundation donates $30,000, primarily to Aurora’s youth. These donations occur through awarding of Kiwanis scholarships (managed by the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley); subsidies to Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and baseball teams; help to area youth programs; and the sponsorship of clubs for youth at the high school and college levels.

Tickets for the breakfast may be purchased from Kiwanis Club of Aurora members or online with an advance cost of $8 for an individual or $10 at the door.
