The “star” atop Leland Tower fixed

AUROA, Ill., Nov. 28, 2018 – In the “City of Lights,” an iconic star sits on top of Aurora’s Leland Tower.  It is now fixed reports The Beacon-News. The fix of the star with a lighted trail atop a lit Christmas tree at the city’s tallest building has been repaired at cost of some $10,000.

The Beacon-News questioned Kim Granholm, president of Aurora Downtown and owner of Aurora Fast Print . “[She} said there is one Aurora landmark she hears about more than any other — the star that rises above Leland Tower.”
