The Master’s Touch Ministry’s Friendship Dinner, its major annual fundraiser, is being held at Gaslite Manor, 2485 Church Rd. in Aurora, on Tuesday evening, May 10th. Doors open at 6:00 pm, and dinner will be served at 6:30 pm.

Jeff Griffth, senior pastor, Compass Church, Naperville.

Once again, Mark Elfstrand, host of “Let’s Talk” (AM 1160, Hope For Your Life), will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

The evening’s Guest Speaker will be Jeff Griffin, Senior Pastor of The Compass Church in Naperville.

Before coming to The Compass in May, 2014, Jeff served for 20 years as the Co-Senior Pastor at The Chapel, a multi-site church in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. He and his wife, Jen, have been married for over twenty years and have three children – Jorah, Janai and Jake. Jeff earned his BS from Wheaton College and his Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

The evening will also include a time of musical praise, a ministry update from Master’s Touch Director Randy Tomassi, and personal testimonies from residents and volunteers whose lives have been impacted by the Master’s Touch Ministry.

The funds that we raise will allow us to continue to provide our residents with food, clothing, housing, Bible classes, tutoring, mentoring, work rehabilitation, and an array of other services, all of which are aimed at life transformation through the power of Jesus Christ.

In providing these services, we incur expenses of approximately $325 per month, per resident (approximately $350,000 annually). This is a small fraction of the cost of a typical in-patient program, due, in large measure, to the volunteer-driven nature of our program.

There is no charge for the event, but a “free will” offering will be taken. Please attend and help us meet our financial needs. We encourage you to invite guests. There will be 8 to a table.

RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED To make a reservation, please call Randy Tomassi at (630) 723-3422, or email him at rtomassi@waysidecross.org
