AURORA, Ill., March 7, 2019–Matt Erion of Aurora. from left, Glen West, Geneva; and Jeff Ford, Oswego, swing out on “Down by the Riverside” at Flowing Forth United Methodist Church’s Fat Tuesday jazz concert at Aurora Christian School. The third annual Mardi Gras-style jazz concert of spiritual music from Dixieland to swing to gospel and R&B by Erion’s Dodeca Band was free to the public. UMC Northern Illinois Conference Aurora District Superintendent Jeff Bross was a vocal soloist on “Amazing Grace.”
