Aurora Methodists to host Christmas Coffee Shoppe fundraiser Dec. 1
AURORA, Ill., Nov. 13, 2018–Flowing Forth United Methodist Church, 551 S. Fourth St. in Aurora, will host its first “Christmas Coffee Shoppe” fundraiser from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1.
The public is invited. Admission and parking are free. Holiday crafts, a cookie walk and fudge shoppe will be among features.
Proceeds will benefit United Methodist Women mission projects.
Offerings will include handmade crafts, gift baskets, a fudge shoppe, cookie walk and handmade Baskets.
The breakfast menu will include casseroles, muffins, coffee cakes, bagels, cinnamon rolls, fruit on a stick, coffee and juice. Items will cost $1 each.
A cookie walk featuring homemade holiday cookies will offer cookies for $7 per pound. Gift baskets–including chocolates, tea, coffee and holiday items—will cost from $7 to $25. Handmade gift items and baskets will also be available.
