Aurora church carving pumpkins for peace
AURORA, Ill., Oct. 17, 2018–St. John United Church of Christ, 309 5th St. in Aurora, will hold a second annualPumpkins for Peace, pumpkin carving and painting, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19.
The public is invited. Admission is free. A limited number of free pumpkins will be offered for carving and painting.
The event will take place at the church’s Peace House, 301 Fifth St., adjacent to the church. Other activities will include face painting, a bounce house, games and s’mores over a campfire.
Refreshments will include free chili.
