AURORA, Ill. — The 2022 edition (two year absence because of COVID-19) of “Stamp Out Hunger” took place in Aurora on May 14, 2022. The National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch 219 (Aurora) and local carriers brought donated food stuff to the main Aurora post office where it was unpacked & sorted by letter carriers with help from community volunteers (Kiwanis Club of Aurora & others). Local pantries (Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry, Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry, Salvation Army – Aurora) received the food goods.
