Aurora Adventists to explore ‘The Questions of Christmas’

AURORA, Ill., Nov. 24, 2020 — “The Questions of Christmas,” a four-part sermon series, will be explored from Nov. 29 to Dec. 20 at Aurora Advent Christian Church, 905 N. Edgelawn Drive in Aurora.

The public is invited to participate online or attend in person at 10 a.m. Parking is free.

Rev. Matt Mull, senior pastor,  said “Join us Sundays starting Nov. 29 for favorite carols and to explore how Christmas answers our deepest questions.”

Sermons scheduled are:

Nov. 29 – “How will I know?”  

Dec. 6 – “How can this be?” 

Dec. 13 –“Why Me?” 

Dec. 20 – “What will this child become?” 

According to Rev. Mull, each Sunday during the advent season a candle in a wreath on the altar will be lit to symbolize hope, peace, joy and love. On request, volunteers will deliver a limited number of wreaths free to congregants for in-home celebrations. Additionally, a Christmas eve candlelight service is planned.
