Aurora resale store to mark transformation with two-day celebration

AURORA, Ill., Oct. 21, 2019–Hope Chest resale store, 34 N. Lincoln Ave., Aurora, will hold a grand re-opening with a revamped sales floor, expanded merchandise and community events.
The store, an operation of Wayside Cross Ministries in Aurora, recently reorganized and transformed its displays of furniture, glassware, books, clothing and other items.
On Friday, Nov. 1, the store will make its debut appearance in Downtown Aurora’s monthly First Friday celebration, an evening showcase of business-district offerings. In a pre-grand reopening, Hope Chest will invite visitors from 6 to 9 p.m. Parking is free.

On Saturday, Nov. 2,  the store will hold a grand re-opening from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A huge sale, giveaways, kids’ activities and refreshments are planned. Parking is free.

Founded in 1928 as Wayside Cross Rescue Mission, Wayside Cross Ministries is a nonprofit Christian mission at 215 E. New York St. in Aurora that serves men, women and children in need.
