The band provided over two hours of Christian music.

Christian band “Chosen” plays at Rosary High School

AURORA, Ill., April 5, 2019 – On this Friday night, the 8-member Christian band “Chosen” came to play contemporay Christian praise and worship music at Rosary High School.

The band played for over two hours with energy and passion. Members of the band expressed their love of Jesus and his love for them with personal testimonies.

The band is made up of Andy Divin (guitar/vocals), Larry Jennings (guitar), Melissa Silvia (vocals),  Kristin Fitzgerald (vocals), Todd Whittmer (guitar), Michael Barbel (bass), Dennis Owen(guitar/vocals), and Rosary’s own Scott Wade (drums). 
 
Chosen formed about nine years ago when these musicians answered God’s call to share His abundant love and grace through the gift of music, Wade said. “Leading praise and worship music for some Masses at St. Mary Plano and St. Patrick Yorkville has been the base and heartbeat of our band.”

John Ross on Saturday, April 23, 2016 launched XPian News, a part of  Daybreak Communications, Inc. Ross is the facilitator of Aurora Christian Ministry Network (ACMN) and a member of the Fox Valley Christian Ministerial Alliance (FVCMA). He serves on the boards of Wayside Cross Ministries and the Kiwanis Club of Aurora. As a follower of Jesus, he has been for some 40 years a member of First Presbyterian Church - Aurora.
